Painted in rich layers of earthy black, the female black cockatoo perches confidently on the native Australian gum branch, it’s feathers detailed with undertones captured by the light. “Red Tailed Speckles” A3 size (29.7x42cm), FRAMED in A2 elegant black, with a matching cream mount to watercolour paper. Painted by me the artist Mylie Weir, with professional Holbein paints on 100% cotton 300gsm watercolour paper. Created in my home studio on Tamborine Mountain. Limited original artwork, apart if the BLACK+BRONZE collection. Once this piece finds its home, it will not be recreated.
