This website is run by Mylie Weir and all rights are reserved to the artist. For you the user, all conditions and policies are stated here. Throughout the site terms “our”, “we” and “us” refer to Mylie Weir.

Our store is run by WooCommerce, and they provide us with an online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Section 1 – Ownership and Copyright

• • If purchased the artwork remains the property of Mylie Weir. This applies to Prints, Commissions, originals and all her products.

• • Copyright to the artwork remains with Mylie Weir and does not transfer to the purchaser.

• • Mylie has the right to recreate prints and products from commissions, the copyright still remains with the artist not the buyer.

• • You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portions of the artwork, unless with written consent  

Section 2 – Usage Rights

• • Any commercial use, reproduction, dulipucation, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portions of the artwork requires prior consent from Mylie Weir.

The artist remains copyright. The Client receives non exclusive usage rights unless specified.

Section 3 – Payment Terms

• • A 50% deposit is paid before a commissioned artwork and is Non refundable. After the painting is complete and 100% happy with, the other 50% is paid before delivery.

• • If late payment fees occur, penalty’s apply.  

Section 4 – Refunds/Liability and Cancellation Policy

• • If the client cancels a commission, Mylie Weir retains the 50% deposit. And is NOT refundable!
  • Mylie is not liable for goods once they are in possession of the collector. It is not her duty to refund, exchange, replace or compensate by any means for the damage of products that have been mishandled by the customers. For example: Smugging fingerprints on artworks/prints, tearing, etc. Unless the product/painting is damaged from postal no refund is available.
    To return your damaged product, email me or contact me on this website.

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • • Mylie does not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind purchases.

Section 5 – Shipping and Delivery

• • Mylie runs her business by herself, which means there is no definite postage date. But she will try to prepare and delivery your order quickly as possible and best to your wants.
     
  • Delivery Methods for Commissions can be chosen between in person drop off or postal shipper per clients wants.

• • Shipping costs will vary for commissions but will be included in the final payment.

• • If any damage is found on the package of the painting or the painting is damaged, I am liable for the damage and will replace it if lost or damaged in the mail.

Section 6 – Communication and Collaboration

• • Client is responsible for providing a reference photo

• • A digital artwork plan/sketch will be sent before the deposit containing a brief summary of what the painting would look like. Clients can add or request for any changes then.

• • Progress pictures can be sent throughout the progress if requested. This displays the current painting look and any feedback or requests are accepted.

Section 7 – Email Subscription

When Subscribed to our email list, you wont get spammed. Emails will only be sent week-ish updating you on recent changes, new additions to the shop, and maybe even sales/discounts.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to check for changes.
